I couldn't wait for this years short holiday to the Scottish Highlands/ Islands. The one week 'escape' to the countryside (as our son refers to it) has become a 'beacon of sanity' in what appears to become an ever growing and expanding 'ocean of nonsense and absurdity' of modern day life in an urban environment...
