Dynamics 365 quick bites- Switch to Dynamics CE (CRM) Classic web Interface from D365 UCI

Due to many discussion in the D365 community, How to switch from new Unified Client Interface (UCI) back to Classic Web Interface? I decided to write this post to help you in this case.

UCI coming up with the current version of Dynamics CE but few users still prefer the classic web interface due to some reason. Someone can switch between old and new UI with following 2 options-

1. Adding query string in the URL- In order to see the older user web interface we can change following query string parameters from -https://yourOrganizationName.region.dynamics.com/main.aspx?forceUCI=1&pagetype=apps to - https://yourOrganizationName.region.dynamics.com/main.aspx? forceClassic=1

2. From the Dynamics 365 CE setting gear- This would be more preferred way, as the previous trick is just a temporary solution and not supported by Microsoft at all.

• Click on Setting gear >> Advance Setting

• Go to Administration Setting

• Click on System Setting

• Find and Change the "new Unified Interface only" to "No" within General Setting

• And here you see the Classic web interface-

Hope above information will help you to get back the classical user interface, but I would strongly recommend to get through with new UCI as Microsoft is investing more and more in new UCI and I believe Micorsoft will stop support on old UI soon. Happy Learning!!
