Dynamics 365 Finance and Operation Document PDF Viewer Functionality

Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations most expected feature for the end users to preview the any source document in PDF Viewer is an amazing feature in the product development. This Post is focus mainly on how to configure or setup the PDF Viewer for the Source documents

To Configure the PDF Preview option, enable the PDF Viewer by accessing the URL with the extension

Go to the Report options page by adding "&mi=SysReportAdministration" to the URL in your browser window.

Enable the PDF Preview options to activate the PDF Viewer

Once the PDF Viewer options is enabled, Migrate to the print management settings for the source documents. In our scenario lets configure print management for Purchase order document

Go to Procurement and Sourcing-->Setup-->Forms-->Form Setup

Select the Purchase order Print Management setup and change the print destination

Change the Print Destination to Screen as shown in the below image

Preview the Purchase order in PDF Viewer 

This feature in the dynamics 365 finance and operation platform update 28 has provided greater flexibility for the document preparer and also minimizes lot of paper work during the order preparations.
