Today, I want to show you how to customize address forms based on the country of your customers and vendors.

For example, if you are in the States or your customers are in the States, you will need to show the State field on the address. But if your customers are in France or other countries that have no State maybe they call it something. For example in different regions, they call the postcode instead of the zip. You could customize this on your PDF forms but it takes a lot of time. And there's a way to do it once and for all by the country of the address of your customer. Below, we provide a step-by-step guide on how to modify address fields on NetSuite for each country:

1. Start by navigating to 'Customization' > 'Forms' > 'Address forms'.

2. Here, you'll find the 'Standard Address Form'. Click on 'Customize' to create a new form for each country for which you want special address fields.

For example, I want to create a France address form. I set the country to “France” and set some information for this form. Include Country, Attention, Addressee, Phone, Address 1, City, Zip. And then click Save:

Customizing your address fields enhances accuracy and improves efficiency by reducing the need for manual adjustments.
