DYNAMIC 365- IT’S NOT THE END BUT THE BEGINNING - CRM, NAV, AX, GP
People are deeply concerned with Microsoft’s announcement of Dynamics 365. Microsoft is rebranding and updating CRM and AX as well as adding ERP software for SMBs. Partners and customers are worried about their business, jobs and technological future. They feel their know-how in the marketplace is being jeopardized.
Do you want your company to be just known for installation of products? Anyone can install a product! Is your expertise really installing and out of the box configuration of one of these products? That is the only thing really being taking away from consultants. Your life just got easier with Dynamics 365!
Microsoft is reorganizing ERP and CRM into one universal product! Other products that do this are very popular, showing that customers like the idea. There is really no difference than Microsoft coming out with the next version of the product as technology is always moving forward. The addition of great new features and combinations are an added bonus.
It’s all in the perspective and which side of the coin you want to look at. Aren’t you selling solutions and functional expertise already? People will still need experts in CRM and ERP design, workflows, rules functionality and integration. Dynamics 365 is really great news for all of us.
The world is resistant to change but unless you are in the server hardware business, there is nothing to fear. This might just be the chance to re-energize yourself and become more passionate about the Dynamics suite. It will only generate more need for the “experts” and drive more business to the partners and SMBs.
Take Microsoft’s example, It’s an opportunity to rejuvenate interest in your company or skills. Rebrand yourself and show the world that whether the product is called Dynamics 365 or Dynamic CRM, AX, NAV, etc.., you are still able to provide a great service or product to the consumer and a name is just a name.
