Last year,I spent close to 300 Usd to design 2 websites for my 2 start-ups ie BNP SAFARIS AGENCY (U) LTD and BNP AGRI SOLUTIONS LTD but truth be told i didnt realise the value of the money i had invested genuinely apart from applying in different acceletaor programmes where a website is a requirement.
Does having a website for your business/company equate to customer acquistion and engagement?
From my realistic point of view and opinion,i say no.What do i mean here?
If you are reading this and you are a business owner, how many people engage you in a daily, weekly, monthly and annually?
How has the website of your organisation helped you earn or monetise your business?
I do not want to throw some lousy statistics around but we need to accept that digital platforms like x,whatssap ,instagram and tik tok have helped many of us cash out of our businesses.

I run BNP HOLDINGS AFRICA UG with 8 subsidiary companies and none of our subsidiaries is having a website as of now and this is intentional and we are vocal with brand awareness on different digital platforms.
I have been able to meet people who ask me about BNP or book accommodation at our Roosty Homes simply because they were on x and they saw our post/write up.
A website needs a developer and annual hosting fees but a digital platform like x,facebook and twitter you only need to pay a few dollars to have your business marketing boosted to reach diverse audience.
One may argue that a website gives your brand visibility but what is the point of being visible without monetary benefits if you are in business
Can a business survive without a website in this era? Yes
Iam ready to be schooled on this if you do not agree with me but the earlier we adopt the better in terms of running and managing businesses.
