When I was watching an episode of a famous TV soap on OTT, the protagonist a character from 1999/2000 who was buying a apothecary table reminded me of CDs. Apparently the mini drawers of this apothecary table could hold 300 CDs. Not long ago people of my age and older we all used them. We were at awe of their sizes and wondered how could that thin slice hold up so much storage. In less than two decades these so called compact discs vanished and were replaced by even tinier things called pen drives. The era of pen drives are also on the brim of extinction as most of the work is done by the magical blue tooth. This graph shows the technological advancement in the last few centuries.
Technology is growing at a lighting speed. Of course there is no chance of stopping this technological advancement. One thing we can try is not to become its slave and beware of it. A few years ago, I experienced sheer terror and goosebumps as I delved into the climactic pages of Dan Brown’s novel, “Origin.” Brown's thoughts on AI sound alarming, "I love all technology, but AI is something that fascinates me deeply, mainly because scientists can't agree on whether it's going to save us or kill us,"

11 个月It is not too far before, AI is going to change our lives forever just like COVID did. Hold on to the things that you love the most, nurture it and pass it on to next generation before technology tries to delete it forever.....
