Duty, Honor, Service... Not just words

TAYS: The best minds, with diverse backgrounds, uncovering possibilities.
For many, these words have a solemn meaning. For others, a commitment. For us here at The McCormick Group, service is a way to give back to the communities where we work, live, and enjoy life. Years ago, TMG founders Bill and Brian MCCormick started a program here that allows us the chance to give back, and we believe this desire to help others is not just something we do but something many of you want to be part of likewise.
For this reason, we will start letting our clients, candidates, contacts, and friends know about some of the programs we support and offer you a chance to become part of something bigger by donating money, time or both.
Link to Donate or Volunteer One of the organizations we have supported for many years is Volunteer Alexandria. Their yearly event "Spring for alexandria" has been happening for 11 years and this year it will take place on May 11th. Donations go toward purchasing materials and supplies for the hundreds of volunteers that will come out and paint, plant, and build! We have a team page where you can donate money, or come out and join us and get your hands dirty helping a local charity! The link to donate can be found here. Once you click on the register or donate button, join our team (The McCormick Group) so you can join us! If you are not in a position to help with this one, please forward this article to friends, family, or your contacts. The goal is not to be exclusive but to reach as many as possible, and support a noble cause. I hope to see you there!

This is the first of many organizations we support, help us give back!

6 年In 8 days, close to a hundred people will gather in Alexandria, this time not for a parade, not to shop, but to support the community. It is a worthwhile cause and if you are near Alexandria on the 11th, consider signing up and supporting! What will you get out of this experience you ask? You will get a chance to know you are helping a community, families, and those that could use your support. Come, build a wall, plant a tree, sweep, clean, and socialize with others that have a common interest.
