AirTrack Factory strengthens ambitions of Dutch Gymnastics towards World Gymnastics Games
In a unique collaboration, Dutch Gymnastics is joining forces with AirTrack Factory to design a brand new AirTrack. The inflatable tumbling track will be given a whole new look and feel of Dutch Gymnastics. The design will play a special role as training material for gymnastics clubs ahead of the World Gymnastics Show that will take place in Amsterdam between 30 July and 5 August. The AirTrack will also be on display during the event.
AirTrack Factory
AirTrack Factory has been committed to the sport of gymnastics through innovation and perfecting products for more than 30 years. Out of that constant drive to create new, improved products, the AirTrack was born. An AirTrack is the evolution of the well-known inflatable tumbling tracks, but with a few essential differences.?For example, the AirTrack is completely flat, as the top and bottom are held together by thousands of thin wires. In addition, the AirTrack is airtight and therefore completely silent. AirTrack Factory has been working with the Koninklijke Nederlandse Gymnastiek Unie (KNGU) for many years and the new AirTrack developed entirely in the corporate identity of Dutch Gymnastics is a sign of the intensified collaboration.
World Gymnaestrada
Next year, Amsterdam will be the stage for the World Gymnaestrada, the largest recreational sports event in the world. Between 30 July and 5 August, all gymnastics clubs across the Netherlands can demonstrate and showcase their talent. It was a deliberate choice to have the special promotion overlap with the World Gymnaestrada.

AirTrack Factory 10-year partnership with Dutch Gymnastics
Both Dutch Gymnastics and AirTrack Factory are excited about this intensification of the collaboration. Gerrien van Leeuwen , business unit manager of athletes and fans at Dutch Gymnastics, explains how the partnership opens up new opportunities: “The fact that we have now purposefully teamed up with AirTrack Factory for a new product shows how we have a shared mission with current partners to take Dutch gymnastics to greater heights.?The World Gymnaestrada is taking place in our own country this year, which is very special. This event is the perfect opportunity for us to put show sports on the map within the DG community. A form of exercise, where you show what you can do and have learned as an athlete without the element of competition and rules.?
“The sky is the limit!”. Cees Zielman , general manager of AirTrack Factory, also feels like there is something special in the air. “We started in 2006 with the vision that training on air is good for your motor skills, that it provides a lower impact on muscles and joints, and that it helps speed up your learning curve. We want to be a breath of fresh air in the world of gymnastics, by helping athletes get the best out of themselves in a fun and safe way. With our tenth anniversary as a partner of Dutch Gymnastics, we are therefore very proud to be the first organization ever to design an exclusive product in partnership with Dutch Gymnastics. So we can't wait to see the AirTrack used at the World Gymnaestrada next summer.”
