DuPont Innovators in Action

DuPont Innovators in Action

Over the past several months, I’ve had the distinct honor of introducing you to 10 of DuPont’s leading scientists and engineers in our Innovators in Action series. Before I introduce our final Technical Laureate in this series, I’d like to take a moment to thank all our fearless innovators for unveiling their personal stories while detailing their journeys to innovation. I’m beaming with pride and can’t wait to share this next story with you.

Meet Bradley Taylor, whose passion for high-tech printing led him to a technical development that dramatically improved the quality of a decades-old technology, flexography. Think colorful flexible packaging used to wrap grocery store meats, breads, snacks and other goodies. This innovation to flexography also lowered costs and reduced process time. But what exactly is flexography?

Join Brad as he reveals how this process to create vibrant, bold, eye-catching, flexible packaging comes down to four colorful dots designed to affect your visual perception in different ways. Or, as Brad puts it, what you see is not what’s there.

But what is this series all about? Well, at DuPont, we decided to pull back the curtain on innovation – figuratively and literally. In all, 10 world-class scientists and engineers explore the approaches and behaviors that break the barriers for any innovator.

Let’s face it, the past 14 months required all of us to get real and rethink our approach to work, innovation and how we connect with one another. As such, I think you’ll find that the talks lift the curtain of DuPont innovation with a personal connection not otherwise possible from a lab or office.

As told through the lens of their very personal and humble voices, our leading experts highlight the diversity of thought, individuality, curiosity, passion and perseverance that help us deliver on our purpose to empower the world with essential innovations to thrive.

These exceptional visionaries are realizing solutions for some of the planet’s most pressing challenges. They are world-renown for their individual expertise and professional contributions that have led them to reach the most prestigious levels of DuPont Laureates, Lavoisier, and Pedersen medalists. But today, Brad is inviting you to join him on a journey of discovery.

Welcome inside the bold and brilliant minds behind DuPont.
