Dunlop Named the Official Ball, Racket, and Accessory of the ITA and College Tennis

GREENVILLE, SC (July 2, 2024) – Dunlop Sports Americas (Dunlop) is pleased to announce a multi-year partnership with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). As part of this alliance, the ITA is designating Dunlop as the Official Tennis Ball, Tennis Racket and Tennis Accessory of the ITA and college tennis. Effective July 1, 2024, all ITA-sanctioned events and non-conference matches will be using Dunlop tennis balls during competition.

As the official tennis ball of the ATP Tour, the Australian Open, and the sole tennis ball supplier of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, Dunlop has set a standard of excellence that has resulted in Dunlop being trusted by more ATP and WTA Tour events than any other tennis ball on the market.

“The ITA is not only the home of College Tennis, but also the home to future leaders in sport,” said VP & General Manager of Dunlop Sports Americas, Kai Nitsche. “More student tennis athletes are playing professionally than ever before, with many more going on to become coaches and industry professionals serving future generations. Dunlop is excited to become the Official and Exclusive partner to the ITA to continue to grow the sport that we love by giving them access to our extensive range of industry leading products”.

“The ITA sincerely appreciates Dunlop's acknowledgment of the significant progress made by the ITA and throughout all of college tennis in recent years,” stated ITA COO and CEO Designate, David Mullins. “Their genuine enthusiasm, interest, and committed support for our member programs, coaches, and student-athletes, have been evident throughout this new partnership process. Having personally enjoyed Dunlop products across many continents over the decades, I am confident that this new partnership will achieve remarkable success for the Dunlop brand and the ITA.”

With a wide range of products to fit the needs of college tennis programs and the student-athletes competing, Dunlop is committed to supporting collegiate programs nationwide with their high-quality tennis balls, rackets, and accessories.
