Duke is Upset By Wake Forest
Duke lost for the second time in three games to an unranked opponent after the Blue Devils lost to Wake Forest 113-101 in double overtime last night. The Blue Devils got hammered by North Carolina State last week 88-66. Duke still has an outside chance at winning the ACC Regular Season Title but still needs to go on the road this Saturday to face an improving Virginia team and then hosts both North Carolina State and North Carolina the last week of the season. Duke is definitely a high seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament but will have a hard time garnering as much as a #2 seed after last night's loss. If the Blue Devils have any chance of landing on the #2 line or even the #1 line they need to run the table and get a few favorable results from teams above them in the rankings. It will be interesting to watch this Duke team down the stretch as they seem like they are starting to fade. It could be their lack of depth or the fact that their roster is comprised of mostly underclassmen. Whatever the case Duke needs to get back on the winning track sooner rather than later.
