Duke Goes Down!
Duke suffered it's first loss this season last night when the Blue Devils fell to Stephen F. Austin 85-83 at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Lumberjacks trailed Duke by 5 points at halftime but played better down the stretch to defeat the current #1 team in the Country. With Michigan State losing in Maui to Virginia Tech on Monday Louisville will most likely take over the top spot in the polls next Monday assuming the Cardinals don't slip up before then. This will be a very interesting College Basketball season as there are many good teams but few if any great ones which will make for an outstanding NCAA Tournament in 2020. I predicted a Mid-Major would win the National Championship by 2020 after Butler lost in the 2010 NCAA Championship Game to Duke. Could it finally happen this season? I can't wait to find out.

5 年First home non-conference loss for Duke since February 2000 - 150 straight wins before that. Youth is served - this Duke team is like last year's, only less talented, as just like last year I don't see a good upperclassman presence. Many forget that in 2015, Duke had their star freshmen, but they also had a senior starter in Quinn Cook who was also an intangibles kid. Last year's team didn't have a Quinn Cook, and this year's doesn't, either.

5 年Wow. What a crazy upset, especially since it was a home game for Duke.
