Dude, this is what's left of MY car ...
This story below is my own. It does not have anything to do with my occupation. Well, that's not entirely true. This story and what I continue to experience in this automotive nightmare will best explain to all of my friends and connections, why it appeared that once again, I had suddenly fell of the face of the earth ...
Some may think that this may belongs on other forms of social media, and you are probably correct. However, if sharing and updating what I am going through, can help to prevent others from suffering the very same fate. Well, my story is still exactly where it needs to be.
Oh and really I never, ever use the word "Dude", it just remains fitting in this particular instance.

In late 2014, this is the last photo I took before it was taken from me. It wasn't until July 2016 that I found what was left of it (see attached photos). In 2014 it was running, had newly rebuilt 427 motor, brand new interior, new headers, new almost everything and for the most part only needed slightly labor intensive body work to make it complete ...
"I've put my heart and soul into your car" ...
After almost 2 years, countless lies, continued avoidance, 2 states, 6 city's, 4 counties and 3 locations later. This is what I have recovered thus far and what remains of my 1966 Chevelle SS.
Not one piece is attached. Not many of the items had been cared for. Many of which were found in an unoccupied home belonging to one of the suspects involved in the contentious deception and lies. So much just left in the yard, exposed to the elements for an unknown length of time.
Which if factoring in his repeated proclamations of sacrificing one of his primary bodily organs in effort to complete this project, that statement would be appropriate coming from a person whom obviously has absolutely no soul.

AND HE SAYS IT AGAIN ...
For those who have inquired. expressed interest, concern and asked if I had updates (if any) I could share. This is what I can now tell you ...
In April this year I was fortunate enough to have accumulated enough evidence proving that at the very least this was a case of "theft by deception". It was with those documents that the local police department officially listed my car as stolen. It's a fact I couldn't publicly share. I could not risk the criminals involved finding out. My biggest fear was that if they discovered what I had accomplished, they would inadvertently dispose of the vehicle in effort to distance themselves and lessen their involvement. As this case unfolds, I am thankful I opted to withhold that knowledge because it has since come to light that they did exactly what I feared would have happened to another victim with a story similar to my own.
I am still missing so, so much ...
My best estimate is it will take approximately $10,000.00 to get the car back to the condition it was in at the point it was taken from me. We really won't know what all is gone until we begin slowly putting the pieces back together again.
I fared better and am in far better shape than the many, many, many others who are still looking for their cars/motorcycles/boats. Or in some cases have sadly only recovered the little is left in the wake of the two of the most heartless individuals on earth (or three, we're still attempting to determine the extent of 3rd persons level of involvement).
It's all very bitter sweet. However, I am in no way finished and will continue to do my best in effort assist the other victims, all of whom unwittingly became a participant in the very same nightmare I've endured. Ideally, I can help them recover what remains of their property and regain possession of what rightfully belongs to them.
For now, I sit here somewhat limited in what more I can do and just hope that in the end, justice WILL prevail ...
