We must not forget that Dubai is not an isolated case where a country offers questionably private wealth management facilities. Switzerland, Panama, the Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, the BVI and of course Cyprus, have all been involved in harbouring wealth for nefarious actors in recent years. However, the prolific situation in Dubai does make for interesting reading.
