Dubai Sets New Record with 9.31 Million Visitors in H1 2024

According to data released by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Dubai welcomed 9.31 million foreign overnight visitors from January to June 2024, marking a 9% increase from the 8.55 million tourists during the same period in 2023.
After hosting 17.15 million foreign overnight visitors in 2023—a record-breaking year—Dubai has continued its strong tourism performance. The city is on track to set a new record in 2024 based on its growth in the first half of the year.

This rise in foreign visitor numbers supports the ambitious goal of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to further establish Dubai as a premier international business and leisure destination. This initiative is driven by the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and is supported by DET’s efforts in collaboration with various stakeholders.
