You are landing in Golden Land for first time on a 1 month visit visa, one bag of outfits and 1000 copies of your Resume. You have heard a lot from all your friends that Dubai is the place to work if you want your dreams to come true. You have researched beforehand on so many websites about tens of thousands of job vacancies in Dubai. You are confident that you will be getting your dream job in first week of your arrival. Awed by the impressive Dubai as soon as you are in the airport you start messaging your besties back home telling them that this is where you were destined to be. With aspirations to achieve all your goals you are all set to take on Dubai. 

One month later you are on your way to the airport, going back home with broken dreams, wondering where did you go wrong. You were so set to dominate this city. You had the experience and the education, you applied at all the right places and still you are going back home. Where did things go so off beam.

The job markets are changing rapidly, to keep up we have to be ahead of the transformation. Just sending the Resume with a boring covering letter my friends is sadly not going to get you closer to securing a job.

Linked-in and other such social media site are playing an important role in career development of millions. Reach out to your Linked In contacts and ask them for support in your job hunt. Ask all your contacts in the Emirates. You never know who might have the right gig for you.

Contact an Expert

Expert recruiters and head hunters can help you land your dream Job. Fix appointment with atleast two recruiter. Be very frank with them as they will be on your side and will be able to sell you better if they know what you are all about.


Try Try Try and Win

UAE job market is very cautious about new entrants. Market is saturated and competition is tough. But if you have the Zing you will definitely find your dream job. Just stick in there and give it your 200%. Remember there is always a company out there which really needs your set of skills. Its just a matter of reaching out and finding that position.
