NHS Cyber Attack: Sensitive Data Stolen From Blood Test Provider
A recent cyber attack hit Synnovis , a key blood test provider for the NHS in London, leading to the theft and online publication of sensitive patient data.
This ransomware attack has caused significant disruption, with more than 1,100 planned operations and 2,100 outpatient appointments have had to be postponed due to the data theft, according to the NHS.
The?NHS has deployed a cyber incident response team who are working around the clock to mitigate the impact and get back to normal operations.
It's a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities in our healthcare system, but also a testament to the resilience and dedication of NHS staff in the face of such adversity. Stay informed and stay safe!
