The DTLA Alliance’s DTLA 2024 Outlook & Insights Report is our annual update on the state of Downtown Los Angeles, combining our signature survey of Downtown residents, workers, and visitors with detailed economic and demographic data to present a comprehensive picture of DTLA as a market – and a community.
This year’s report demonstrates both the progress made towards DTLA’s full recovery from the pandemic and the extent of work that remains to be done. This is the core message we received from almost 1,500 responses to our annual survey. The report’s market stats show that the residential, hospitality, and retail sectors have found their footing, while the office market remains in flux.
From its dual perspectives of market conditions and public sentiments, this report illuminates both the opportunities and challenges facing Downtown and should serve as a call to action for addressing today’s issues as we continue to reimagine the future of DTLA.
