New tech, shaping the future TV experience for millions, and monetising it. There was certainly no shortage of things to discuss at this year’s Digital TV Group (DTG) Summit.
We had the pleasure of partnering at this year’s Summit, and delivered some coverage that included exclusive interviews with the speakers. Rather than go on about how much you missed if you weren’t there, here’s what we found out.

The launch of the new platform is part of a landmark collaboration between UK public broadcasting services, marking a new milestone in British television.??
Why is it a milestone for TV? It’s going to be delivered IP-only, with the ability for users to stream live TV channels alongside on demand content, for free.??

Ad-supported services, user engagement, revenue-boosting via D2C strategies and FAST: the conversation moved across these key pillars, which were perfectly summarised in the panel titled ‘Driving new revenue streams: Diversification and growth’.?
