russia launches massive attacks against Ukrainian energy infrastructure
russia launched more than 100 missiles and 100 drones against Ukraine on the evening of August 25-26, killing at least seven people and severely damaging the country’s energy infrastructure. The attack was one of the worst since the full-scale invasion in February 2022 and caused power and water outages throughout the country. It is the ninth massive attack on Ukraine’s energy system since March 2024 and comes less than 50 days before the scheduled start of the country’s heating season.

Ukraine's Armed forces are actively engaged in defending DTEK power stations from incoming missiles.?
