Another conference, another annual event-- complete! Not so fast--Stay mobile!
So often people are so exhausted or ready to move on to the next priority, they forget to concentrate on improving what they just accomplished. I am an advocate to take time to become better at each and everything I do to improve marketing processes. To continually and constantly--improve processes, prepares you to become your very best.
Making the effort to become better throughout each step along the way, allows you to become the best at what you do. Take the time to provide a foundation of learning and transfer your knowledge in every project, within every industry, touching every aspect, for everyone's benefit. The concept of "Best Practices" keeps you humble and prepared to face the next challenge in competing among the best of the best. I learned this concept while living in Japan. Everyone, whether you are a CEO or a street gum scraper... has the discipline to improve with best practices... Take it personally-- become the best leader or the best street gum scraper in the world. Take pride in learning how to change, learn from mistakes or learn to save time and budget. Be at your very best in everything you do.
...and isn't that what the World Series and Super Bowls are all about? Rise Up! Feel confident, know you are prepared and be the best at what you can be while teaming for success!
Successful leaders have multiple proven advisors: Board Members, Trustees, Coaches and Mentors. To be average, we don’t need a coach to help us see our blind spots and grow. But who wants to be average?
8 年Great article Rebecca Kelly, MBA! Continuous improvement is how we recreate ourselves and evolve, over and over again, into the best version of ourselves possible. Rise Up!
