• Dorsey is a fashion-focused lab-grown jewelry brand best known for its sapphire necklaces (once worn by Hailey Bieber). Since launching in late 2019, Dorsey hit eight-figure revenue and seven-figure profitability.
• The company's projected 2024 year-over-year growth is expected to be 100%.
• The brand set out with profitability in mind. They maintained low customer acquisition costs and built a loyal customer base with high retention rates. They also operate with a lean team and have a marketing approach that ensures they are profitable on every first order.
• In 2021 when the brand reported triple-figure year-over-year growth, investors began to reach out and they raised $1 million in seed funding.
• The brand plans on expanding its assortment of fashion-forward jewelry. The goal is for 50% of their sales to be in lab-grown diamonds to build on the popularity of their lab-grown sapphires.
