The Interview
Leah is the youngest elected president of?Delaware State University Alumni Association?and I was honored that she tapped me to run as the Recording Secretary on?Team Building Bridges?and gave reasons why I was chosen. She is the middle child of triplets and plays 9 musical instruments and was one of the only female arrangers in the Delaware State Marching Concert and Jazz Bands.

At the age of 22, Leah was diagnosed with?Crohn’s Disease?which is an autoimmune disease and she works as an advocate to spread the awareness about this “invisible” disease with the?Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.?Leah, supported by her family and best friend and college roommate after her diagnosis also and credits her faith in God to get her through to good and bad days.
