DSM's Journey over the last 4 years

With the event industry currently at a standstill, it's a great time to reflect on how far my company has come in 4 years.

The first bit of equipment I owned was a couple PA speakers and a radio mic. I had one client of whom I can safely say they are still clients to this day. In terms of growth, it may not seem huge where I've got to in 4 years however in terms of industry I think I'm doing pretty well.

From that initial client I have grown the company to the point it is today. Our clients include a FTSE100 company, a couple of financial institutions and NHS sectors, a private manufacturing company, a couple of public servant sectors and many more... We have done events from 4 people on a Video call, in a hotel meeting room, to San Francisco right up to sourcing and managing an entire corporate event (we supplied the production and managed the catering and marquee hire).

This all started from literally a cupboard under the stairs. DSM now lives in a 3,000 sqft. warehouse and office space just outside the centre of Wakefield. I have worked on small intimate weddings, corporate award ceremonies and even one of the UK's biggest music festivals!

In November, DSM Productions will celebrate its 5 year anniversary... no party but certainly a milestone to shout about.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank clients past and present, you have trusted me to provide you with an un-rivalled service and guaranteed that the work will be there when we get through this storm. I would also like to thank other companies, and individuals, in this industry who have been there to support me when I've needed help.

Whilst ever there is a stage, there will be a show! COVID-19 may have brought the industry to it's knees but we are a resilient industry and will rise from the ashes!
