DSC Webinar, May 2020

It was a great honor to attend the DSC webinar hosted by OUR SPECIAL Erica Hanson.

Nice meeting Arman Hezarkhani, James Valles, Amrita, Sodiq Akinjobi, Mehmet Oguz Derin, and Irene Ruiz – you guys rock!

The energy and passion about helping people were obvious in your conversations, and above all TECH – from ML study groups to peer-to-peer learning mesh, tensor flow, G Suite, AR, VR, teamwork, collaboration e.t.c. So HOT!

I even heard someone call my favorites of communities “DSC” Oh! Sorry I mean GBG …??

I think you guys are super cool and awesome. 

My words of encouragement will be short:

(1) There is no such thing as a “resource” until MAN or WOMAN finds a use for something in nature and thus endows it with economic value. Until then, every plant is a weed, and every mineral just another rock. ??

Train your mind and abilities to always create meaningful things out of most things. Trust me, 1 video or post, 2 videos or posts will not count in the short run, but 1,000 videos over 4 years will say something about you, your ideologies, and most importantly your community. ??

Understand that time will always tell the stories undiluted; everything is a function of time. ??

(2) You should see community building as a mission to do GOOD. ??

Understand that TECH is just A TOOL, but the platform you are given to Lead can help you do a lot of GOOD for your immediate community “When there is SINCERITY OF PURPOSE”. ??

Well, I believe in the principles of “CAUSE AND EFFECT”. 

One of my favorite books is Mastery by Robert Greene, and I also share the philosophy of the primary LAW OF THE CREATIVE DYNAMIC, which states:

“Your emotional commitment to what you are doing will be translated directly into your work. If you go at it with half a heart, it will show in the lackluster results, in the laggard way in which you reach the end. 

If you are doing something primarily for other purposes and without a real emotional commitment, it will translate into something that lacks a soul and has no connection to you. You may not see this but you can be sure the public feels it and will receive your work in the same lackluster spirit you created it in. 

If you are EXCITED AND OBSESSIVE in the HUNT, it shows in the DETAILS. ??

If it comes from a place deep within, the authenticity of the task will be communicated.” ??
