It's time to rewind and relive the groundbreaking creativity that went down at Cannes Lions 2023. Whether you want a soft recap of some sessions you've missed (we won't blame the sun and rosè) or you had to give this year a skip, I've got you.

Before I share a playlist I put together with a variety of interviews and sessions covering a wide range from marketing and media effectiveness to innovation, lets recap some themes that stood out.

First off, this year's Cannes Lions was all about pushing boundaries and redefining the creative landscape. As you know Cannes Lions brings together the world's leading minds from advertising, marketing, and technology and when they collide oh you can bet it sets the stage for some mind-blowing ideas.

We saw companies and individuals bring their A-game to the table, leaving us with a strong sense of "Wow, we're living in the future!"

One big trend that emerged was the fusion of traditional advertising with cutting-edge tech. Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) took center stage, transporting us to immersive worlds and shaking up the way we experience ads. Picture this: walking down La Croisette, you stumble upon a mind-bending AR campaign that turns ordinary billboards into living, breathing works of art. ??

But it wasn't just tech stealing the spotlight. Purpose-driven campaigns also made a massive impact. Brands championed social causes and used their influence to raise awareness about important issues. From environmental sustainability to mental health advocacy, Cannes Lions 2023 proved that businesses can make a real difference in the world. It's safe to say that being "woke" is no longer just a trend—it's a core pillar of successful marketing.

Speaking of success, diversity and inclusion were at the forefront of conversations this year. Agencies and brands showcased campaigns that celebrated the rich tapestry of humanity, embracing people from all walks of life.
