UAS Regulatory and SORA 2.5 training recap
From June 10-14, 2024, we co-hosted a 5-day training event in the vibrant city of Barcelona with Murzilli Consulting and the BCN Drone Center . With discussions and lessons from our expert teachers, Lorenzo Murzilli , Yves Morier , Juan José Sola and Lluís Amat Olóndriz , the training invited industry leaders to learn more about the complexities of UAS regulations and the Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA 2.5).
Throughout the training, our attendees learned about European U-space regulations, watched an impressive flight demo focusing on U-Space Remote ID, and many more practices. This hands-on approach not only grounded the theoretical knowledge in practical reality but also highlighted the dynamic field of UAS operations.
Our training programs and events are not just about learning – we want them to be prime opportunities for networking. Attendees engaged with peers and leaders, shared experiences, and discussed the future of our industry. The flight demos, including operations for contingency, emergency procedures, and BVLOS operational authorization, are among the highlights that provided real-world applications of the discussed concepts.
The event featured numerous in-depth discussions, practical demonstrations, and insightful debates that will empower attendees with the knowledge and tools to navigate the complex regulatory environment of unmanned aircraft systems.
