Drones to avoid
I bought the Parrot Analfi Thermal camera drone less than 18 months ago
Sold by Drones Direct I was sucked in by the price and stated quality from what I thought was a leading drone manufacturer
The drone cost ￡2040 plus ￡1314 training package.
COVID came and I flew less than 5 hours and last week used to survey a building. I had a fly away and it crashed. I called the supplier and although not expecting a warranty claim I asked for who would repair it?
They didn’t know and suggested I contact Parrot direct. Parrot sent me an email telling me the ANAFI was obsolete and can’t be repaired.
I contacted two major drone repair companies, but they won’t touch it.
So be warned, if your buying a Drone, fly away from Parrot and Drones direct

4 年Had a response from Parrot, They say this ￡2000+ drone is out of warranty and beyond repair despite not even seeing it and due to COVID with only 5 hours on the clock. Incredibly Parrot the manufacturer now say the supplier I bought it from Buyitdirect.co.uk and DRONES direct is responsible. Unfortunately the only help they offered was for me to buy a new drone at ￡2000+ Even more incredibly they tried to tell me the state of art drone I bought 18 months ago is now out of date and recommended a manufacturer that actually has a after sales service. You might think a sales outlet could support their sales and even more that a manufacturer supplying police forces in the UK cant offer support. More to come
