Drone photography and video production in marketing properties.

I recently received an instruction to photograph Old Hall Farm in the village of Reymerston. Tom Goodley, Director of Strutt & Parker Norfolk, requested aerial drone photos of the property. "It was important to showcase the setting of house, barns and outbuildings within it's grounds and to capture the beauty of the surrounding countryside".

As soon as I viewed the property, I felt Old Hall Farm warranted something more than just photographs, so I also filmed the property by drone and ground camera. As often is the case, filming required two visits to capture the location in the best light. The sun setting behind the farm produced some wonderful 'golden hour' light at the end of the day.

Drone photography - in experienced hands - has the ability to produce unique images. As well as photographing at high 200 to 400 feet altitudes, photos are also shot at quite low elevations - 20 to 30 feet. This can be just enough to capture a startling aspect....such as the image below showing the reflection of the house in the lake.
