Drone Photography Ltd recently received a commission to conduct a study of traffic movements into and out of Wymondham College in Norfolk, the project was carried out on behalf of the Sapientia Education Trust and Wymondham College.
Our brief was to monitor traffic flow at peak times over the course of a week in support of a planning application to the local council. The monitoring was captured from our DJI Phantom 4 pro drone, equipped with a 20mp sensor. We had to film the roadway access for a continuous hour between 8am to 9am and 3pm to 4pm on consecutive days over the course of a week. We produced time stamped images shot over the entire hour, to reveal the flow of traffic into and out the school. "On icy January and February mornings just after sunrise, that means cold fingers!"
The planning application was ultimately successful and the drone photography imagery proved to be a significant element of that process.
Equipment used in this filming project video:
Drones and Gimbals: DJI Phantom 4 Pro plus; Polar Pro ND filters. DJI Ronin-S and the Canon 5D Mk4 DSLR with 16-35mm f/2.8 lens, SLR Magic circular ND filter

4 年Oliver.... heavy to shoot on the Ronin-S! As a DSLR for 4K footage it’s the only camera I’ve used. So can’t compare it to anything else. I’d prefer a tilt / fold out screen.
