A lot of info has been traveling around regarding the Chinese Drone Ban and your action is needed. False info from lobbyists is threatening a technology that professionals and hobbyists use daily. US companies have hired lobbyists to “educate” our government on Data security concerns that are not valid. ?Rather than creating a better product, these US companies are trying to eliminate their competition. Innovation and competition will help the industry grow, but if this bill passes, it will force the drone industry to take a huge leap back in time. DRONES SAVE LIVES. There is no doubt about it. However, you shouldn’t be forced to choose a subpar product just because US companies need to show positive sales numbers to their VC investors. If your voice is not heard and this bill passes- the industry will still be expected to function as it has been, but now with drones that are half as capable and will not yield the same results. ?
