NIPSEA Group recently hosted the "2023 NIPSEA Group and Nippon Paint Japan Group Joint Technology & Innovation Conference" with the theme "Innovation for a sustainable future" in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ground-breaking event, held on June 1st and 2nd, brought together nearly 500 scientific and technological experts from 17 countries, lighting the path towards a sustainable future driven by innovative technologies.
This conference stands as a significant milestone, reaffirming NIPSEA Group and Nippon Paint Japan Group’s commitment towards nurturing a sustainable future. Dr. Hong Jiang, Chief Technology Officer of NIPSEA Group & Nippon Paint Japan Group, highlighted that despite the barriers to physical communication posed by the pandemic, the determination shown by the panel of experts to participate in this conference has borne a number of significant innovative outcomes in the areas of environmental protection and sustainability.?

During the two-day event, participating experts shared a wealth of knowledge, presenting over a hundred reports across diverse fields such as architectural coatings, high-performance coatings, industrial coatings, advanced materials, and beyond. We also engaged in effective discussions on industry defining subjects such as autonomous driving, artificial intelligence (AI), renewable bio-based materials, renewable energy, and anti-viral & anti-bacterial coatings.?
In a market defined and characterised by dynamic and rapid changes, the key to move forward lies in uniting all stakeholders towards developing disruptive and unique propositions in our mission to become a responsible market leader.
