Eagle Technology’s?Field Operations?team has for the last seven years been quietly creating, testing, and implementing unique solutions for the management of teams and equipment whilst working in remote and often hostile environments.

?The?Field Operations team has deployed high-end technology into ruggedised solution that is literally ‘out-of-the-box’, a mobile take-anywhere set of componentry that has to date been used successfully within Forestry to improve communications, safety, and efficiencies.?It serves as the foundation for a readily deployable communications network in field environments.

?Mark Hamilton, General Manager, Eagle Technology, sees a much broader future and application of the solution set.

“We started out assisting with seismic surveying in a remote area of PNG and moved the technology from there into forestry operations. With the recent weather events, we have seen that there is huge potential for Emergency Management and Search and Rescue operations to benefit, and beyond that the Ag sector, air operations, and any sector really where workers and equipment should be tracked, supported, monitored, and made safer, whatever the conditions.”

?Eagle Technology’s?Field Operations?team is preparing to showcase its capabilities in the upcoming Whaka100 mountain biking event in which at least one team member will be hard up against it competing over the 100km race, whilst others will track the event and its competitors in real-time.
