The start of the year always brings a mix of excitement and opportunity, and 2025 is no exception. For our team, this year is about driving forward innovation, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering even greater value to our industry partners.?

Reflecting on 2024: A year of milestones?

As we reflect on 2024, it becomes clear that Aerogility is at the forefront of innovation, driving remarkable advancements in aviation, defence, and more. This pivotal year showcased our commitment to excellence and innovation through a series of significant milestones. Below are some key achievements that highlight our impact:?

Within the Airline Industry: ?

  • Air New Zealand: Our second Australasian airline has integrated the Heavy Base Maintenance Mid-term planning and landing gear modules.?
  • Wizz Air: Our fifth European airline has integrated Aerogility to manage heavy base maintenance?for its growing fleet.? ?
  • New module - Fleet Optimisation Strategy (FOS):

The FOS module has been developed in response to requests from our current client base to provide a clear visualisation of key fleet metrics all in one place. It provides detailed insight to support critical decisions regarding fleet size and composition to meet commercial demands.?

In the Defence Sector:?

  • A new five-year Rolls-Royce Contract: Utilising Aerogility, the Rolls-Royce team run multiple ‘what-if’ scenarios in rapid, large-scale simulations of the business. This delivers better decision-making for complex asset lifecycle management by quantifying opportunities to improve the performance of the Rolls-Royce services business.? ?
  • AERALIS deploys Aerogility's AI for future planning: AERALIS is partnering with AI-based digital simulation twin pioneer Aerogility to enhance future fleet planning for its world-first modular military aircraft system.?
  • Partnership with Robbins-Gioia: The partnership brings together Aerogility’s expertise in predictive AI forecasting and planning for global aerospace, airlines, and defence businesses with Robbin-Gioia’s innovative process engineering, systems modernisation, and enterprise optimisation solutions for fleet depots in the US and around the world. ?

Other Sectors: ?

  • AI digital twin for HS1 infrastructure: Network Rail High Speed, which operates and maintains the UK’s only high-speed rail line, has demonstrated how it is paving the way on the digital transformation of British railways, following a successful proof of concept to test the capability of an AI digital twin model, originally conceived for the aerospace sector, on HS1 infrastructure that connects the UK to Europe. ?

Richard Thorp, Chief Operating Officer for HS1, said, “Most industries can be very inward-looking and not realise the opportunities that outward collaboration can bring. Working with Hexagon Consultants and Aerogility brought a fresh challenge to the way we in the rail industry plan and deliver work and opened our eyes to the benefits of an Enterprise Digital twin.

Celebrating 15 years of Aerogility:

Fifteen years of delivering AI-driven solutions that redefine what is possible in aviation, defence, and beyond. Our growth is a testament to the trust our partners place in us and our relentless pursuit of innovation. From our first major customer to becoming a trusted partner for some of the largest names in aerospace and defence, Aerogility has consistently proven the power of technology to simplify complexity and drive impactful decisions.?

Tips on Driving Innovation and Growth in 2025?

As we reflect on the challenges and changes that marked 2024, innovation remains a driving force for progress in the aviation industry. In times of uncertainty, advanced technologies, especially digital twins and AI, continue to pave the way forward, offering solutions that not only respond to current needs but also anticipate future demands. Innovation in aviation is no longer just a competitive advantage; it is a necessity for navigating complexities and achieving long-term growth.

Here are actionable strategies for organisations aiming to thrive in 2025:?

Leverage the Power of Advanced Technologies?

In 2025, AI, machine learning, and digital twin technologies will remain key drivers of innovation. They will help companies optimise operations, improve decision-making, and stay ahead of emerging challenges. The AI aviation market is projected to grow from $3.41 billion in 2023 to $31.01 billion by 2032, reflecting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27.80%.

“Companies can use the technology to examine these issues, identify which scenarios are most likely to occur and help make better business-critical decisions,” Simon Miles, head of AI at Aerogility, tells Aviation Week Network.

Digital twins, for instance, enable companies like Rolls-Royce to develop virtual replicas of intricate systems, improving maintenance and performance through real-time insights. As part of their IntelligentEngine initiative, Rolls-Royce employs digital twins to optimise aero-engine operations.

Beyond aviation, AI and machine learning are transforming industries like healthcare and manufacturing, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experiences. As these technologies continue to evolve, companies that leverage them will be well-positioned for growth and success in the years ahead.?

Prioritise Customer-Centric Innovation?

Listening to customers and responding to their evolving needs is a critical driver of success. Deloitte research found that customer-centric companies were 60% more profitable compared to companies that were not customer-focused. Organisations can create tailored solutions that resonate deeply with their audience by embedding customer feedback directly into product development.?

For instance, our Fleet Optimisation Strategy (FOS) module was developed based on direct customer input, showcasing how aligning product features with customer needs can deliver tangible, impactful results. Engaging with stakeholders to co-create solutions ensures that the products we deliver not only meet but exceed their expectations. This approach fosters long-term partnerships, creates value beyond the immediate transaction, and drives sustainable growth.?

To deliver a personalised customer experience in your organisation, you must understand and prioritise each customer's unique needs. This can be achieved by gathering continuous feedback, leveraging AI for personalised insights, and adapting your offerings to ensure the highest level of satisfaction and loyalty.?

Embed a Culture of Excellence?

True excellence is not a one-time achievement but rather a mindset that thrives on continuous improvement. It begins with a personal commitment to growth and the belief that each day offers an opportunity to improve. When leaders establish high-performance standards and motivate their teams to uphold them, they create a culture that drives innovation, fosters collaboration, and nurtures resilience. ?

This is not merely about efficiency, but it's also about empowering every individual to reach their full potential and to contribute to something greater than themselves. By prioritising excellence in all areas of the business, organisations build a reputation not just for delivering outstanding products but also for creating lasting value and trust. This dedication becomes a profound catalyst, shaping how companies adapt, evolve, and lead their industries with purpose and integrity.?
