Driving an Era of Progress?
Yesterday, we hosted Wall Street financial analysts at our flexible manufacturing site in Spring Hill, Tennessee – which builds both gas-powered vehicles and EVs – to share our optimism about 2025. We are poised to build on the momentum of 2024, one of GM’s best years yet.?
What’s driving this optimism??
We continue to deliver strong financial performance, driven by our gas- and diesel-powered trucks and SUVs, with eight new or redesigned SUVs coming to market.??
Our financial outlook for our EVs is also improving. The team is making rapid progress toward EV profitability, offering the most diverse portfolio in the industry, taking market share from our competitors, and pulling in new customers to the GM family of brands.??
No matter what you like to drive, there is a GM vehicle for you.??
What about the EV skeptics??
We also understand there are pain points to adoption with one of the biggest being range anxiety.??
Most GM EVs in North America now boast a range of 300+ miles, and we will continue to add more range. For example, the new Silverado EV RST can go nearly 500 miles on a full charge. Meanwhile, we’re collaborating with other automakers, charging companies like EVgo, and travel center operators like Pilot Flying J to make charging easier and more convenient for our customers.??
We believe in an all-electric future, and we’ll continue to offer choice and make investments to improve the customer experience as more and more people make this transition.?

1 周That’s fantastic news!
It's great to hear about the engaging discussions with analysts at the manufacturing site! The focus on both gas-powered and EVs really highlights the innovative approach there. What key takeaways from the visit stood out to you?

2 周Mary Barra it would be great if you simply produce new cars that don’t break after 371 miles and have been at a Chevy dealer since Monday this week! It is a gas vehicle that GM has produced for well over 50 years yet it’s broken and you are where the buck stops. Your quality has dropped to levels never seen before and it is your fault. Poor quality even poorer customer service and dealers that can’t fix the problems you send out. Case number 913996589131, and please don’t instruct your so called customer service. Folks to tell your customers they are sorry that only puts salt in the wound!
