Driving the AV Experience at Nike Glasgow’s Refurbished Flagship Store

Nike’s flagship store on Glasgow’s Buchanan Street has reopened, redesigned to offer a bold and interactive shopping experience. Spanning two levels and 1,275 m2, the store combines exceptional design with features like the Nike By You customisation service. We are proud to have played a key role in this transformation, delivering audio-visual solutions that enhance the space and bring its standout features to life.

Bringing AV Expertise to Every Corner

Working alongside 耐克 and GRAHAM Interior Fit-Out , our team delivered a range of AV systems designed to complement the store’s design and purpose. These systems create a visually engaging environment, support customer navigation, and ensure the store operates efficiently.

Key AV Installations:

  • Atrium LED Wall: The LED wall in the atrium is one of the store’s most prominent features. Using Leyard NEV2.6 technology, it delivers crystal-clear visuals that draw attention and enhance the customer’s first impression. Positioned to maximise visibility, this wall is a powerful tool for showcasing Nike’s campaigns and brand identity.
  • Vision Pro Digital Tickers: Placed in high-traffic areas like Women’s Footwear, Bra & Leggings, and fitting rooms, these tickers bring movement and energy to the store. They display product highlights, promotional content, and directional cues, helping customers navigate while strengthening Nike’s visual presence. These systems can be updated quickly, allowing for flexibility in presenting fresh content.
  • Service Desk Displays: Samsung QM55R screens installed at service hubs improve communication between staff and customers. Whether used for managing order collections or facilitating the Nike By You experience, these displays ensure that interactions are smooth and effective.

Our AV systems also play an important role in the Nike By You customisation feature. Customers can visualise their designs in real time during one-on-one sessions, adding a layer of interactivity that supports Nike’s commitment to creating a unique shopping experience.

Tackling Complexities with Expertise

Delivering this project required careful planning and strong collaboration between all partners. With a tight timeline and the need to integrate advanced systems across a large retail space, our team overcame several logistical challenges to ensure the store opened on schedule.

The installations spanned multiple zones, including the atrium, product areas, fitting rooms, and service hubs. Each zone required a tailored approach to ensure that the systems met both technical and aesthetic goals. For instance, the Vision Pro tickers had to be installed with precise measurements to match the layout, while the LED wall needed to fit perfectly within the atrium’s structural design.

To minimise disruption, we coordinated closely with GRAHAM Interior Fit-Out to align our installation process with other construction activities. This collaborative approach allowed us to maintain efficiency while delivering high-quality results.

Our team also navigated the challenges of preparing the store for the busy holiday shopping season, ensuring that all systems were fully operational ahead of the grand reopening. By combining technical expertise with flexibility, we met the demands of this fast-paced project without compromising on quality.

Creating a Memorable Customer Journey

The audio-visual systems installed throughout the store are designed to elevate the shopping journey. From the moment customers enter, the atrium LED wall provides a striking introduction to the space, setting the tone for their visit.

Within the product zones, the digital tickers draw attention to featured items and promotions, making it easier for customers to find what they’re looking for. These systems not only improve navigation but also encourage exploration, helping Nike tell its story throughout the store.

The Nike By You feature takes this experience to another level. By offering customers the chance to personalise their products, Nike creates a deeper connection with its audience. Our AV systems play a key role in this process, providing the tools needed for customers to view and adjust their designs in real time. This seamless interaction between technology and personalisation reinforces Nike’s focus on individuality.
