During a particularly memorable interview, the host asked a common question: "What words of encouragement would you offer to those who worry about not reaching their goals?"
Typically, this is an opportunity to share an inspiring quote or story to motivate those feeling lost. However, after a moment of reflection, I responded with an unexpected answer:
"None. I believe that people who worry about not reaching their goals do not truly desire those goals. If someone genuinely wants to achieve a goal, they don't need any words of encouragement; they will naturally pursue it."
After I finished speaking, I noticed a slight disappointment in the host's eyes. At that moment, I realized this question might not only pertain to the interview topic but also reflect a personal struggle of the host.
