International Women's Day: Recap

Last week Tahanee Twist led the charge on producing a whole heap of amazing content celebrating our amazing women in data. Within these case studies Tahanee sought to uncover how these brilliant leaders found themselves within the data & analytics space, their key learnings as well as top tips for getting into the space.

It was fascinating to see the unique journeys each leader has travelled in order to find themselves within the data & analytics space. One of our favourite trends throughout all the case studies was that they're so passionate about helping the next generation of women in data to climb the ranks, and become the leaders of tomorrow.

Last week Catherine King met with our current Mentors and Mentees to kick of Q1. Our next cohort will be released on March 30th, so if you'd like to join the program as either a mentor or mentee, please reach out.

This free program is designed to develop, upskill and progress the next generation of leaders in the data analytics industry; by providing access to the Orbition Group community’s elite mentors made up of high-profile and respected thought leaders in the global data and analytics space, including business leaders, published authors, and keynote speakers.

Many people have been burnt by organisations that profess to be data-driven, only for their work to never see the light of day.

Therefore the key driver for most Data & Analytics professionals when choosing their next employer is assessing how visible, valuable and impactful their work will be within the organisation. In a recent poll we conducted, 57% out of our 192 respondents said this was the case. We therefore suggest all of your messaging that supports your narrative should be geared towards demonstrating this.
