Dripped Digest #6: AI B2B Wars

Dripped Digest #6: AI B2B Wars

It’s Friday noonish and instead of the usual forgettable ping of another email, it’s ChatGPT that's slipping into your notifications .??

Maybe you’ve surrendered your morning routine to the shiny new Tasks feature — or maybe AI is taking another step to overtake you at work

.From autocorrecting your emails to ghostwriting your tweets, AI isn’t just at our fingertips; it’s inching closer to the driver's seat.

With AI B2B wars heating up, it’s now even more accessible, money-wise.

?? Here’s how it's shaping up:

  • Many of us work non-stop with ChatGPT, don’t we? Now it can also schedule and announce everything for you, be it the meeting, tasks or free time. Tasks is available in beta, making ChatGPT another one-stop shop that tries to organize your life and set notifications as well as your personal human assistant or mom. “Remind me to work out every morning at 9.30 am and motivate me if I fail.” The system doesn't just reply, it remembers the chats and can suggest tasks based on them. ???♀?

How does it work for teams with a shared account? Or is it another way for your manager to reach you? ??

  • A new report. According to Mediaocean's "2025 H1 Advertising Outlook Report", marketers are increasingly investing in automation. ?? The most common applications of AI are data analysis (47%), market research (38%), copywriting (32%) and image creation (22%). God bless all the specialists who are being torn down by AI for a laudable objective - efficiency. ?? AI has gotten better, hasn't it?

  • Google has generously opened up the best Gemini features with a bit of a catch - all Workspace plans are now more pricey now. ?? But you’d get email summaries in Gmail, generated designs for spreadsheets and videos, an automated notepad for meetings, etc. You also would have access to the Gemini bot, perhaps Google’s most powerful AI tool. Are we on board with this?

?? Just go the comments on The Verge: "Headline updated for accuracy: “Google is now forcing their AI, Gemini, onto all of their business suite subscribers..."

  • Microsoft spiffed up their Copilot Chat into what’s now the Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat. For the low, low cost of $30 monthly—just a minor splurge—you get an AI sidekick that's more clued-up than your average intern.?? his thing’s supposed to whip through your files and emails faster than you can say "automation apocalypse.” It's all very futuristic, very sleek, very... desperate??? Like Microsoft is leaning hard into making this AI chat an office staple.

  • And just a hint of riot at the end. While TikTok is under the thread of being banned in the US by the end of the week (or forced to share its stock), people are migrating en masse to, a kicker, another Chinese-owned app for shared lifestyles called Red Note. ?? The app is not being portrayed in the media as the ultimate destination, as it could just as easily fall under the divest-or-ban law. Are there #TikTokrefugees here? People are opting for Red Note as a sign of protest. For some reason, China simply does it better. ??

?? Cherry on top, but not an unexpected one: China weighs sale of TikTok US to Ilon Musk as a possible option.

Do not feel like automation is the future for everything- it will make parts of internet dead, but definitely will work for a lot of things well

AI's not just a tool anymore—it's your new coworker. Just hope "it" doesn't ask for a raise! ????
