In the past few years we've seen a huge increase in illustration projects for the drinks sector. From its initial beginnings in the craft beer market, the trend has moved to the spirits market (especially whiskey) and now into the traditionally more conservative wine market.

Not sure if this is in any way intentional, but I love how the Stella Artois illustration vaguely resembles Edward Hopper's famous painting "Nighthawks" - but gives a much warmer, friendlier ambience. The beer drinkers are happily engaged while the worker in the background (assumedly) is closing up shop; in "Nighthawks," the evening coffee sippers sit stoically while the attendant looks wearily up from under the counter (assuming he's got quite a few more hours to go).
