Job Location: KSA

You will responsible for supervision the drilling and blasting operations at the company's various sites in terms of design and implementation of the drilling and blasting operations, relocation and setting the drilling machines, supervision the execution of drilling & blasting processes, calculating the quantities of explosives required and follow up their balances in stores, calculating the cost and consumption rates of explosives, and directing all work related to blasting operations Punching in terms of (depth - angle – grid reallocate - rate of drilling), preparing weekly and monthly plans for drilling process, and ensuring the required number of drilled boreholes required for the blasting process according to production plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology/ Mining Engineering from an accredited University
• ?A desire to be a leader, always to do your best, focus on continual improvement, and ongoing career learning
• ?Must have excellent computer skills with the ability to learn technical software
• ?Excellent time management, attention to detail, teamwork, and setting ongoing goals
• Good English Command
• Knowledge of any blast design program or ability to learn the software
• Significant experience in drill and blast, long-hole stopping and backfilling processes
• Must have excellent computer skills with MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
• ?Preferable to have Project management experience and proficiency with MS Project
• Must be able to manage time effectively and set priorities
• Ability to interpret and disseminate technical information between internal and external stakeholders

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• ?Must be able to traverse steep areas including berms and muck piles
• ??Must be able to walk and hike for extended periods of time
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear, and see.
• ?Must be able to work shift work with 12-hour shifts.
• Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday.
• Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.
• ?Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves, and any other protective equipment as required.

ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY

• The job requires training or instruction in the area of environmental Awareness.
• This job requires training or instruction in the area of Safety & Health awareness including completion of the appropriate MSHA training.

Experience Required:?5- 10 Year experience at least is required in relevant position

Responsibilities:

• ?Generate Blast designs and schedules for the long & short range mine plan
• Create / Share in Bench designs and stope sequencing
• Ensure a seamless transition from life of mine planning to mid and short-range mine plans
• Conduct analysis to identify optimal mine plans.
• Technical studies project management experience
• Generate practical blast designs in compliance with geotechnical, hydrogeological and geological and explosives parameters
• Analyze and reconcile actual blast performance to planned performance
• Responsible for blasting design optimization, long range mine scheduling, equipment sizing, asset optimization, etc.
• Collaborate with all departments and engineering disciplines to integrate long-term mine infrastructure projects into the mine plan
• Ensures blasting is planned to maximize the recovery of ore and minimize mining dilution in terms ( Explosives quantities, Drilling grid boreholes direction – angle- sequence – depth and other parameters)
• Preparation of the annual mining budget and prepare associated reports on production activities
• Maintain design database and checkout the delivered grid system
• Comply with all safety requirements and observe all company policies and procedures
• Performs other mine engineering duties that may reasonably be required
