Pulsation And Vibration Analysis of A Gas Compression Station
This case study investigates pulsation and vibration effects in a gas compression station with four centrifugal compressors. Pulsations from impellors cause acoustic and mechanical resonances analyzed via BOSfluids software. Structural vibrations in connected components were evaluated using CAESAR II.
Stress Analysis Of A Compressor System
This study presents the results of a static stress analysis conducted on a compressor and the exit area of a compression station.? Using CAESAR II software, a comprehensive model covered the system from suction headers to the exit, including underground and aboveground piping. Results showed stresses were within ASME B31.3 limits, and compressor nozzle loads met API 617 criteria.
Mitigating Deflection In Vessel Dividing Walls Through Finite Element Analysis
In a vessel study, a dividing wall faced 0.03 bar pressure differential with shell at 8 barg, likely causing deflection. Finite Element Analysis using FEPipe and Pro-Engineer/Pro-Mechanic assessed critical areas like the dividing wall and stiffeners.
Stress Analysis Of Pressure Equalizing Piping In Reactor Systems
This case study evaluates stress analysis on reactor pressure equalizing piping. A stainless steel bellow was replaced with a flexible rigid pipe layout. Various configurations and materials (aluminum, and stainless steel) were assessed for structural integrity under operational stresses.

Static Stress Analysis Of Eight-Metering Skids
In this case study, DRG performed static stress analysis on metering skids for a flow station, using CAESAR II for piping and in-house methods for structural steel. Issues like thermal expansion non-compliance and overstressed beams were identified.
