DRG Employee of the Quarter: Andre Bibb - Avionics Instructor
Andre Bibb
F-15QA Avionics Instructor
F-15QA, Qatar
Andre Bibb always goes the extra mile as an instructor to ensure he teaches not only all required academic material but also the complex troubleshooting necessary for avionics maintenance. The wealth of knowledge he instills in his students is far greater than can be found in the pages of a book.
“Andre Bibb is an employee that ensures DRG always stands out amongst the best, both from an instructor and human perspective,” said F-15QA site lead, Ronnie Pollard. “His experience and dedication to excellence shows every time he teaches his students.”
Bibb joined DRG in November 2021 and has been on the F-15QA program since January 2022.
“The U.S. Air Force provided me all the technical experience required to become a subject matter expert on the F-15 aircraft, and my time as an instructor in Saudi Arabia gave me the experience to transition smoothly to DRG as an instructor in Qatar,” he said.

Bibb’s contributions to the F-15QA program include providing recommendations for revisions of the Communications/Navigation/Identification Friend or Foe/Digital Electronic Warfare System (C Shop) course to fix anomalies. In addition, Bibb instructed and graduated the first C Shop class, including the first female Avionics Technician, whose students were fully qualified for the Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF). He also collaborated to revamp all the electrical and environmental course exams.
He takes the opportunity with every student to provide advanced, hands-on instruction beyond the scope of the curriculum, so they receive optimum instruction.
“In the Air Force, the mission never stops, no matter how many hours are put in, no matter how bad the weather may be, or how short of the notice given to deploy. To fulfill duties, I had to get used to my surroundings, adapt to it, and get over challenges.”
It is evident in his students’ performance in the workforce that he has prepared them to do the same in their careers.
With more than seven years of service from Korea, England, Norway, UAE, and Greece, Bibb has enjoyed living abroad where he could experience new countries and cultures.
Bibb’s commitment to being a life-long learner continues as he pursues a bachelor’s degree in information and computer science from Park University. Learning more about computers and software will benefit him as he continues to advance his avionics career and create new opportunities to further hone his skills.
Bibb was born and raised in Killeen, Texas. He said his greatest accomplishment is “raising an intelligent, compassionate and beautiful daughter (Janissa, 12) who is destined to accomplish great things.”
