2023 week 1 almost over and do you have clarity on your GOALS? Speaking to a client yesterday I realised so many people do not! There is a chasm width difference between a DREAM and a GOAL.
I want to run a marathon this year = a #DREAM !
Turning that into a #GOAL means giving it clarity with clearly actionable and achievable steps.So let me break that down for you by way of example.
Define the #GOAL - I want to run the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April in a time of 3hr40.
What do I need to achieve this? I need to share my goal (this makes me accountable) with my support team, I need to register, I need all the equipment/kit, I need a coach, I need a training programme of daily activity and I need to record my progress toward this goal.
First Steps - my Outline:
So now you have an outline of what you need to do to to achieve this #goal and make your #dream a reality. From here you'll need to break it down further. This can be a done a few differentD ways but here is a rough idea;
WEEK 1: ( 9th January)
WEEK 2: (16th January)

WEEK 3: ( 23rd January)
And so you get the idea, then this can be further broken down into each day.
Week 3:
Now you know what you need to do each day to achieve your #goal . You have a detailed #plan to help you succeed on achieving your dream.
#Business is no different! Unless you have a #detailed plan to help you achieve your "Dream" it's going to stay written on your first 'business plan' sketch and never materialise. Make it clear, break it down into actionable steps, put this on a good bit of software like 'Asana' and get it done each day.
