Dreams lead to freedom. Seek the wisdom that will get you there.

13 years ago, I stopped living the life I loathed and began living one with purpose and impact. I shifted my wealth management practice from hoarding to a business of giving. The journey continues today. While I was the expert in wealth management and legacy planning, my affluent baby boomer clients had valuable wisdom to share too. I listened to every word - and wrote them down.

After I led them through weeks of a robust planning process and the presentation of our next steps (implementation), the conversations would go like this:

Client: "Wow! I never realized that was available to me. If only I knew some of these things 20 years ago. No one ever taught me."

Me: "I am glad to help. There are still plenty of tools and tactics we can use today to reach your goals."

Client: "Thank you. Knowing all this, there are definitely some things I would have done different 20 years ago when I was in my mid-career, building my business and wealth, and raising our kids. I was so busy and ignorant of all this stuff. Too many times, I put my priorities on the wrong things..."

Then they would go on to list ALL the things they would have done. This usually took an additional hour! After hearing that information over and over, I decided, six years ago, that I needed to go out and share that WISDOM with those mid-career entrepreneurs and business leaders in who were twenty years younger than my past baby boomer clients, who might avoid the same missteps and host of regrets.

I would be the guide with two decades of investment, finance and business knowledge, learned through experience, academics and from the mouths of Nobel Prize winners.

Someone with a profound understanding of tax and estate planning gained from diving into actual complex personal and business scenarios with exceptional clients and a team of top notch tax accountants, lawyers and planners.

The one with a decade of philanthropic legacy counselling. The author of many books on giving and business and the consultant to some of the nation's most important charities.

The public speaker who guided thousands of people to connect their purpose with passion to make their impact.

The student and investor in my own development through courses, training, mentors and business coaches.

The father and husband simply trying to get better every day, knowing that our legacy will be realized through the lives of our children and through generations beyond.

Why am I telling you this? Well, I guess in this digital world plagued by noise, misinformation and confusion with everyone racing to the bottom, I want to share that some of us in the business coaching world have the chops, are worth the premium investment and we know YOU can't tell the difference. It is all so confusing.

It is tiring as the marketplace tries to spin their language in a way they think you want. "Make more money" "Get more time" "Sell more" "Get more likes, clicks, follows..." "make money while you sleep" Make money while you're awake" "Make money from others" "sell this. buy that." blah, blah, blah. So, tiring isn't it?

It all comes down to FREEDOM. You won't get that in a box, or some digital program, or mass marketed training. Unless you have it now, you probably won't get it doing what you are doing today.

Personal, professional and philanthropic freedom is gained when you follow your dreams with purpose and passion. You must have dreams, goals, plans and an illuminated path.

And...when you connect with real people in meaningful ways.

And...when you experience unwavering commitment to your path gained through clarity and focus. Money, time and energy will follow.

Here's the thing. You can't do this alone. You might want to. You might even believe you have ALL the tools, but the truth is you can't. What you don't know WILL hurt you. It will torment you and you will find yourself living with regrets like my baby boomers had. Invest in your dreams today, so you can access your freedom.
