Dreams do come true:
Quartzite containing copper, gold, and silver

Dreams do come true:

One of the things in mining I hate most is when people design a couple of big, fancy words and start throwing them around as if it is the best thing since sliced bread. Talking to them is frustrating, highly irritating, and plainly annoying. Since I know mining in depth and detail, I cannot talk to them because they don’t understand me, and we usually cannot match ideas.

This brings me to the big word NetZerO mostly used in connection with climate change, but I personalized it to mining and came up with the following mission statement.

Mission:

Mining: Net zero for us mean:

  • Zero harmful emissions from equipment
  • Zero footprint from mining activities
  • Zero impact on local community (dust, fumes and noise)
  • Minimal impact on the environment

Processing: Net zero for us mean:

  • Zero harmful substances in our processes
  • Zero harmful substances in our tailing facilities
  • Minimal waste dumps and tailing storage facilities.

You will find the whole shebang over here: TANZAMZAR INVESTMENTS – NET ZERO IS OUR AIM IN EVERYTHING WE DO (tanzaminvest.com)

To summarise this, we would like to do mining and rehabilitation at the same time.

To be successful you need:

1.????? A high grade preferrable multi metal orebody.

2.????? A mining method that can extract the ore.

3.????? An environmentally friendly processing technology for several metals and minerals

4.????? Open mind which can delve into minute detail.

5.????? The will to make it work.

This last month, my geologist visited the orebody I was looking for. He confirmed the basics on which we could build. He spends 600Km on the back of a motorcycle to return from the mine. Bearing in mind it is the height of the rainy season in Africa and the road was last maintained when Belgium was raping the DRC. It was epic.

Anyhow, the results were what I expected.

Now the journey can start.

Test work and preparation, exploration, mine design, backfill, rehabilitation, must be done, validated and peer reviewed.

Oops, almost forgot, we have to fix a part of the road.

I think we will start producing gold by 2026, followed by copper, silver, lead, and maybe a couple of interesting by-products.

It is not going to be a walk in the park, but the journey is going to be very satisfying in the end.
