Q: What was your top takeaway from Dreamforce 2023??

Matt: For me, it was a great opportunity to revisit Dreamforce after a long break. Witnessing the immense focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its potential to revolutionise businesses across industries was truly inspiring. The advancements in AI showcased at the event will undoubtedly shape the future of customer experience.?

Sean: Spending time with the wider dentsu team was a highlight for me. Collaborating with professionals from various backgrounds allowed us to gain fresh perspectives and engage in meaningful discussions. The power of collective knowledge and collaboration cannot be understated.?

David: One of the highlights for me was meeting with friends and clients from across the ecosystem. Dreamforce served as a platform to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones. The opportunity to connect with individuals who share a passion for innovation was truly valuable.?

Brad: Data Cloud is the foundation for it all, and every customer should seriously consider including it in their technology landscape.? Data Cloud is everywhere and can now be used to create Salesforce Objects, initiate Flows, and there is even a CDP Page Layout where you can configure your full customer 360 view representing the data within Data Cloud.?

Q: Can you share one exciting development that will make a difference to clients??

Brad: With all the hype around Data Cloud and AI – and considering that AI is powered by data - I wonder about organisations with limited (or inaccessible) data sources or trusted data that is of low quality or promotes incorrect processes?? AI without data isn’t anything; you must have data, and the data must be reliable.?Every organisation should be asking themselves, if Einstein allows you to have a conversation with your data, what would your data say??

Sean: One of the core capabilities that will shape the future of our work is the ability to write effective prompts for Generative AI. This requires a level of specificity and leveraging data within Salesforce. Writing prompts enable us to obtain the desired results from Generative AI, facilitating more accurate and tailored insights. I highly recommend exploring the "Get Started with Prompts and Prompt Studio" trail on Salesforce Trailhead to dive deeper into this concept.?

Matt: I found the sessions about Omnistudio to be intriguing—the UI enhancements driven by Flex Cards and their integration with Data Cloud present significant changes. Additionally, the alignment and consistency across the roadmaps for Industry Clouds and the advancements in the Service Process Studio, are remarkable. The upcoming Winter 24 release will introduce features like easy-to-admin roles, access controls, and other enhancements.?

David: Leveraging AI to make better decisions was an exciting development for me. The ability to harness the power of AI algorithms to derive insights and make data-driven decisions will revolutionise how businesses operate. This development opens up new possibilities for optimising processes and driving growth.?
