NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT: #SALESFORCEGENIE ?
The major announcement of the day was Salesforce Genie, a real-time hyperscale data platform that provides a single source of truth for all customer data. The Salesforce Genie is envisioned as being the most significant shift in the #SalesforceEcosystem , allowing you to create dynamic workflows for a personalised customer experience based on real-time data streams.?
We saw live demo-style use cases from #Ford Motor Company and L'Oreal to illustrate the importance of focusing on the customer's buying journey. Salesforce Genie?will power the entire #SalesforceCustomer360 platform. Genie enables companies to deliver seamless, highly personalised customer experiences across sales, service, marketing, and commerce that continuously adapt to changing customer information and needs.

Salesforce and #WhatsApp Partner Up!
DF22, the largest #CRM conference in the world, saw Salesforce and WhatsApp announce their new strategic partnership that will enable #SalesforceCustomers to connect with their customers on WhatsApp and build new messaging experiences.
It is estimated that 90% of customers value the experience a company provides as much as its products or services, and 66% of online adults prefer messaging as a method of interacting with a business. Messaging is the next big frontier in customer engagement and preferred channel for customer engagement.
A WhatsApp branded experience will transform customer engagement for Salesforce.?With WhatsApp-first business messaging, people and businesses will enjoy modern, convenient, integrated, and personalised experiences across the globe. Furthermore, companies will be able to activate their customers directly using Salesforce Genie, which allows companies to target those audiences with real-time data!

New Slack features were announced, including 15 NEW Salesforce integrations. You can now share your screen, draw on the screen, and save the chat thread within Slack's Huddle feature. Additionally, a new Slack tool called Canvas will enable teams to integrate data from their systems of record into workflows and automate business processes.
The Inspirational Golden Hoodie Award
Sima Samara, an artist, refugee, and #SalesforceDeveloper , won this year's Golden Hoodie Award.?Sima fled her country due to government warnings, homeless, without any family support. After working for a while as a housekeeper, Sima stumbled upon a Salesforce class advertisement. In just two months, Sima went from no computer knowledge to SF ranger status. Within a year of starting her new job, Sima was able to buy a house in the Netherlands. Congratulations Sima from the team at #SteadmanBrown !?
