Dreamcast Facilitates Zero Waiting Time At WETEX Dubai

The Government of Dubai is concerned about building a sustainable future for the Emirate. WETEX Dubai aligns with this goal of a sustainable future for the Emirate. The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) annually organizes the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX). It is the largest sustainability and clean energy technology exhibition in Dubai. It was held at the Dubai World Trade Center from 1st to 3rd October 2024.?

?The event is organized under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the current ruler of Dubai, who also serves as the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE. Thus, ensuring efficient and smooth operation of the event was a top priority for us.

The event drew around 38,000 visitors and 3000 exhibitors to showcase the latest technological advancements in water management, energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and clean energy. To meet this challenge, our team implemented a robust Access Management System designed to handle the event's vast scale and diverse audience with ease.

Check-in Pods

One of the major challenges was handling the massive influx of attendees while maintaining a smooth entry process. Our team introduced sleek self-service check-in pods and also found optimal entry points for maximum efficiency and security. The pods contained a QR code scanner to allow users to effortlessly scan their QR codes for quick access.

Mobile Event App

Dreamcast also delivered a mobile app with a QR code scanner to allow swift check-ins. It enabled us to achieve zero waiting time at the entry points. It powered 80,000 scans throughout the event.?

API Integration

We had to ensure our system integrated with their existing registration software to provide a seamless flow of information.

Hardware Integration

Our team also made sure that the hardware gelled well with the software to reduce technical issues.

Backend Development

The backend of our system was designed with a set of performance metrics (KPIs) to monitor how well the Access Management System was functioning during the event.?
